For purposes of display on Emojipedia, the emoticons from Skype Emoticons 1.2 have been assigned a codepoints from a Unicode-equivalent emoji. These animated emoticons are created via shortcodes. It’s an experiment, and well, not perfect. Emojis: 1650 A Unicode-adjacent subset of Skypes current animated emoticons. It works best on phones & browsers like the latest version of Chrome on Google Pixel or other smartphones running the latest Android OS, or Safari on newer iPhones running the latest iOS.
